"Animals do not pay for sex" - what about bonobos, who exchange sex for food (or vice versa)? And couldn't beavers damage the water table?
A lot of that is just waffle - 'cats don't own credit cards', etc. "No herd of horses or pack of hounds will ever ask you to clap your hands in unison. Nor will any animal -- even in front of a TV camera -- introduce another as "the lovely and talented ..." I really can't see what that's got to do with anything or why it shows animals are better/smarter.
A lot of her examples are of domesticated animals, who have evolved a lot of the virtues she mentions after being domesticated. And she 'rests her case' after providing no citations for any of the above. Meh.
